Disciple Bible Studies

The man stopped me in the hall, and I could see the passion in his eyes. He knew I was between worship services, and he didn’t have much time to explain. “I have been in church all my life. I have heard the Bible stories. I am taking Disciple right now, and for the first time, I think I get it. I see the big picture. I see how things fit together. And I just love these people, these new friends… Just wanted to tell you that Disciple works.” I want each one of you to feel that you are starting to “get it.” I want you to have marvelous “aha moments,” and meet some friends that will last a lifetime. I know of no program that can help you do that more than Disciple Bible Study. If you haven’t done the Disciple program, I want you to. For your sake, and for the sake of God Tom Pace New Disciple sessions forming for September Disciple I: (**FULL**)Becoming Disciples, Mondays 5:30-8:00pm, R24 Disciple I: Becoming Disciples,...

Psalm 150:1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary, praise Him in His mighty heavens... [back to fine arts home] Permanent Collection Art and Christianity have been intertwined for centuries. St. Luke's is fortunate to have an extensive permanent collection of art in a variety of forms to inspire and enrich the lives of all who enter our church. Oils, watercolors, stitchery, engravings, sculpture, prints, photographs and multi-media works are all a part of our vast collection, given by many generations of generous members and friends. The most prominent piece in our collection is the Charles Umlauf sculpture in our courtyard, 'Teach All Nations' (pictured), which was commissioned and dedicated in 1966. St. Luke's is priviliged to own three other Umlauf sculptures, in addition to this one. We in the Fine Arts Ministry encourage you to look at and appreciate the beautiful art on display throughout our church campus. To read about featured pieces from our collection,...

Small Groups

What is a Small Group? Small Groups consist of people who want to connect with others and grow spiritually. Usually meeting in a host's home on a regular schedule, they are formed based on common age, location, interests, stage of life, etc. They are gatherings of people who come together to study the Bible serve in missions, pray for each other, and to gather socially for fellowship. Most importantly, groups learn to support, encourage and challenge each other as they take their faith journey together. Are you interested in joining a Small Group?
