Angel Tree

Thank you Sponsor Families!

At this time all our recipient families have been paired with a sponsor family. Thank you to everyone who stepped up and became a sponsor family. Don't forget the due date for gift delivery is Friday, November 30 at noon. Please deliver to Gethsemane Campus- 6856 Bellaire Blvd.

Additional opportunities include:

  • Give a monetary gift to help cover the cost of the party, food, and supplies. Checks can be made out to St. Luke's, with "Angel Tree" in the memo, and dropped in the offering plate or mailed to P.O. Box 22013 Houston, TX 77227
  • Volunteer to be a shopper for any additional supplies needed for the December 9 Angel Tree Party.
  • Volunteer at the Angel Tree Party on December 9 at 12:30 pm at Gethsemane, where all our sponsor and sponsored families will be able to partipate in fellowship, food, and crafts together.

Need Ideas of What to Shop For?

We are asking that sponsor families spend no more than $50 per person. While each person supplied us with a wish-list, some of the things they asked for may be more than the suggested amount, which requires us to be creative in what we give them. Here are some helpful suggestions, by age:

Teenagers (13-15 years old)

  • Hair appliances (curling iron, blow dryer, flat iron)
  • Jewelry set
  • Makeup kit
  • Bath and beauty items
  • Perfume or cologne set
  • Skateboard
  • MP3 player
  • Digital camera
  • Electronic handheld game
  • Watch
  • Hat, jersey, etc. from Houston area sports teams
  • Art set

Pre-Teenagers (10-12 years old)

  • Jewelry box, jewelry
  • Makeup kit
  • Bath and beauty items
  • Wallet, belt, purse
  • Watch
  • Perfume or cologne set
  • Hat, jersey, etc. from Houston area sports teams
  • Electronic handheld games
  • Large art or craft projects (like paint by number, screen printing, knitting)
  • MP3 player
  • Lego architect set
  • Skateboard or schooter and helmet

Elementary (6-9 years old)

  • Doll house, doll, doll accessories
  • Art set
  • Board game, 3-D or large puzzle
  • Remote controlled car or pet
  • Scooter and helmet
  • Sports equipment
  • Advanced lego set
  • Electronic handheld game

Pre-School (3-5 years old)

  • Baby doll, clothes, and accessories
  • Tea or kitchen set
  • Dress up set
  • Big stuffed animal
  • Wooden blocks or legos
  • Scooter and helmet
  • Action figure
  • Train or miniature car set

Infant/Toddler (0-2 years old)

  • Wooden puzzle
  • Baby toy- sorting, stacking, music, light up
  • Soft toy
  • Bouncer or play gym
