Baptism Class

Prior to your child’s Baptism, every parent is required to take the Baptism Class.  The class is offered typically on the first Sunday of every month from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m on our Westheimer Campus.

Topics discussed in the class are:

• The Methodist perspective on baptism
• practical tips and ideas for how to raise your child in the Christian faith
• a detailed overview of the Baptismal service
• and logistics about the day of your child’s Baptism

Each class also offers an opportunity to meet other parents and learn about opportunities to get involved at St. Luke’s.

To attend the class, a reservation is necessary through Juliette Morrow at jmorrow@stlukesmethodist.org or 713-402-5013. Childcare is available with your reservation during the class.
