ElderSmart!
Job 12:12 Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?
ElderSmart!™ is a ministry focused on learning about natural aging. ElderSmart!™ will show you how helpful, and even exciting, learning about aging can be by offering educational opportunities–for ourselves, to help our parents or other loved ones, to help our community.
Please watch the church announcements for seminars on other topics. Aging is a journey, not a destination.
More people are living longer today
Research in aging suggests that attention to mental, physical and spiritual fitness can make the aging process less traumatic, and contribute to the ability to find meaningful and challenging ways to use our time in our later years. Educating ourselves about issues of concern to older adults is helpful in addressing the needs associated with aging. Those needs have to do with life maintenance issues, life enrichment and spiritual enrichment skills, coping with change, and celebrating life.
