All incoming 6th graders - graduating seniors are invited to serve as leaders for Vacation Bible School (VBS) June 11-15.  After VBS, Tuesday - Friday, the student ministry will provide lunch and afternoon activities for all student leaders.

About Our Ministry

Our ministry creates an environment for junior high students to interact with friends and leaders while growing in their relationship with Christ. We strive to help students encounter the gospel in ways that are both culturally relevant and spiritually challenging.Junior High is an exciting time, but also a harrowing time in the life of a student. At St. Luke’s UMC, we believe that the junior high years are an important time in young people’s faith. It is a time when their faith becomes their own, and they enter into a lifelong journey to follow Christ and live out their faith.

We also want to walk alongside parents. At St. Luke’s, we know that parents are the most influential people in a student’s spiritual life. Our hope is that we can work together to help your student navigate through this exciting but challenging life stage.

We invite you to learn more about our Sunday Morning and Small Group programs geared specifically toward junior high students. There are also exciting opportunities throughout the year, including trips, events and service projects. We hope you will join us.
