Senior Adult Fellowship

I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship with one another.

We are called, as Christians, to live in community. It is nourishing to body, mind and spirit to stay connected to life and to our relationships with people of all ages. Even though circumstances change in our lives, the need for a caring community never changes. The activities and programs of Senior Adult Ministries are designed around the interaction of people, staying connected to the community we live in, and caring for one another.

Mainstreamers

Mainstreamer Day, on our Westheimer Campus, is a time set apart for spiritual enrichment, learning and fellowship. Program topics are varied, and range from spiritual enrichment, community leadership, cultural or historical significance, medical and health care information or musical or theatrical performances.

The day includes a buffet-style luncheon and conversation around the tables. The only cost is a nominal charge for lunch, and reservations are requested. There is no charge or reservation necessary for the morning programs. For lunch reservations and more information, contact Kathy Neely at (713) 402-5139.

Mainstreamer Newsletter

Senior Adult Ministries publishes a monthly newsletter, which is sent to all members of the congregation 62 years and more, and other non-members who participate in our programs or otherwise request receipt of the newsletter. The newsletter contains information about upcoming events and activities of interest to senior adults.
