Senior High Move

MOVE is a 5-day high school only event held on college campuses all over the country, designed to amplify the call of Christ on student lives to become Kingdom workers for the sake of the Gospel. MOVE is an incredible experience that positions students to see their everyday lives through a Biblical lens. Students who go on MOVE meet fellow high schoolers from across the country as they participate in a number of different events such as a dodgeball tournament and a talent show while also deepening their relationships with members of their own community and learning more about their shared faith.
G.O. Ministries: Dominican Republic - June 5 - 12, 2012

Global Outreach Ministries challenges students to encounter the world through God’s perspective. G.O. Ministries sends teams from all across the United States to the Dominican Republic to engage a culture and learn about what God is doing in a context different than their own. By sending groups to do construction work, feed children in the Nutrition Centers, lead sports camps, coordinate ministries, and lead ongoing training sessions, G.O. has earned the respect of the community to share the hope of Christ.
St. Luke’s Senior High Student Ministry wants to make this opportunity available to our high school students every summer because we want to cultivate a true partnership that is established through relationships. These are relationships that we will continue to build with G.O. Ministries staff, their national partners, and the community in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Our hope is that this partnership goes beyond the 7-day mission trip and becomes an integral part of our mission.
