Sunday Express
All aboard! The train leaves the station every Sunday morning for 1st and 2nd graders at St. Luke’s. On the journey, children have many opportunities to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, as well as their peers and adult leaders.
Sunday Express meets each week at 9:45 a.m. in the Children’s Chapel (B121) for a special Gathering activity, then teachers take the children upstairs to their assigned classroom for the lesson, prayer time and activities until 10:45 a.m. (Parents pick up children in their classroom above the Activities Center.)
Our Sunday Express program features these great highlights:
- Caring, volunteer Sunday School teachers who strive to inspire and nurture your child in God’s word
- Gathering for 1st & 2nd graders in the Children’s Chapel (B121)
- Interactive Bible lesson, prayer time, and activities in the classroom
- Fun, creative crafts
- Sunday School Socials for fun and fellowship
