Music & Fine Arts
Psalm 92:4-5 For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy. How great are your works, O Lord!. . .
The Music and Fine Arts Ministry provides inspiration to those who seek expression of God's grace and love through the performing and visual arts. You are invited and welcome to enjoy and explore the many art opportunities that are available to our congregation and community.

Rob Landes and Friends Summer Concert
Come enjoy a festive and fun summer afternoon of music with the Rob Landes Trio and friends! Rob's got some singers and instrumentalists lined up for a performance that will evoke a "Variety Show" atmosphere, and you can count on lots of laughter and terrific music making!
The fun starts at 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of St. Luke's. There is no admission fee, however a free will offering will be collected to benefit the Organ Maintenance Fund, which is Rob's favorite project!

Summer Poetry Contest
The Fine Arts Ministry is sponsoring a Summer Poetry Contest, and invites all youth and adults to submit original, unpublished poems for consideration. The winning poem will be selected by a panel and announced at the Fine Arts Fair on August 24. It will then be featured in our Poet’s Corners and on our website for the months of September and October.
Submissions must be received by August 15, either by e-mail or by post. Contact Carol Mohrman at 713-817-0091 or csmohrman@comcast.net for more information about submitting your poem.
