Scouting

Titus 2:6-7 Similarly encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good.
 

Tiger Cubs BSA - Pack 46

A school-year program for first-grade (or 7-year-old) boys and their adult partners that stresses simplicity, shared leadership, learning about the community and family understanding. Each boy/adult team meets for family activities, and all the teams meet once or twice a month for Tiger Cub group activities. Pack meetings are the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Blanton building.    
Cub Scouting - Pack 46

This is a family and home-centered program for boys in the second through fifth grade (8, 9 and 10 years old). The emphasis of Cub Scouting is on quality program at the local level, where boys and families are involved. Fourth and fifth-grade (10 year olds) are called Webelos (We’ll Be Loyal Scouts) and participate in more advanced activities that begin to prepare them to become Boy Scouts. Pack meetings are the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Blanton Building. Our committee chair for cub scouts Dennis Bascon 713.622.8045. 
 
Boy Scouting - Troop 46

A program for boys 11-17 designed to achieve the aims of Scouting through a vigorous outdoors program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster. (Boys also may become Boy Scouts if they have earned the Arrow of Light Award or have completed the fifth grade).

Troop meetings are every Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Blanton Building. Our committee chair for Boy Scouts is Tom Paulley 713.665.5348. Our Scoutmaster is Patrick Ezzell; his number is 832-498-5803. 
   
Venturing Crew 46

Venturing is fun and full of challenges and adventure for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) through 20 years of age. Come learn more about high adventure, sports, arts, hobbies, and youth ministries.
