Men's Life I - The Quest for Authentic Manhood
|
St. Luke's MEN'S LIFE program encourages men in their transformation towards being successful leaders at home, work and in their communities.
At the same time, other MEN'S LIFE programs have spread throughout the entire Houston area, as men are exploring new opportunities for personal growth in all of their relationships. It has been a phenomenal movement in this city and it continues to grow! When men connect in life-changing ways, a powerful ripple effect touches families, the workplace, even our communities. Deeper connections with God and other men inspire transformational change that is hard to describe. Through authentic and entertaining presentations and small group discussion, MEN'S LIFE helps men grow in authentic relationships with one another, while steering men to be all they were created to be.
What men are saying:
"MEN'S LIFE has made a drastic change in me. Sharing personal issues with other men is something difficult for most of us. But this forum makes it easy."
This program has had as much relevance as any ever offered at St. Luke's for men. It is truly life-changing and sets a course that brings both excitement and relevance to daily living."
MEN'S LIFE reinforces what I know I should do, but often don't. I was raised much differently, and told to be an ungodly man by the media and society."
"Why get up in the morning to attend Men’s Life... it is easy to stay in bed, easier still to not expand our thoughts and explore areas that trouble us, but Christians need to deal with the world and things that challenge us. The Men’s Life meeting helps you unpack those areas and challenge your heart and soul to be a better husband, son, brother, father, employee and friend. It opens your eyes to dealing with the issues that affect our lives and that of others around US." John C. Duffie
