Mission Statement of Women's Ministries

The Mission of St. Luke's Women's Ministries is to engage and minister to all women in the many crossroads of our lives.  Whether student, professional, married, single, parent, widowed, or retired we are working to support each other to find spiritual, intellectual and physical balance and wholeness in response to God's love for us through Jesus Christ.

Our vision is three-fold:
  •  to encourage and support women in their Christian faith,
  •  to expand opportunities for service and fellowship among women within our church
  •  to offer hospitality and reach out to women in our community.
Through small group spiritual enrichment, Bible studies, United Methodist Women, service projects, and education about ourselves and the world in which we live, we seek to serve God in an environment where women can grow in grace and nurture their faith, discover and use their gifts, practice leadership skills, and deepen supportive Christian friendships.  Our programs are open to all women in St. Luke's and the extended community.  This is your invitation to be a part of this ministry.  Please join us and share in this caring and exciting faith community of St. Luke's women.  Please contact Dee Haggard (713 402-5027) for more information.
