In the years ahead, will we give that child everything he or she needs to build a faith that will last for a lifetime? Will that child's faith "stick?" Will we have "trained up the child the way he should go so that when he is old, he will not depart from it?" This month's Spire focuses on the launch of "Yours, Mine and Ours" this fall, an intergenerational initiative to build a faith that lasts for a lifetime. The series will speak to what it means to be a church family, and how to talk about faith in our families, even with our parents, adult children, and siblings.

Stories include the St. Luke's Prayer Ministry, Kids Meals ministry and service opportunities, Chapters at the Story Houston, Up close and personal with Craig LaFollette and an interview with Dr. Tom Pace on David, the saga of a man after God's own heart.
