Summer Clubhouse at our St. Luke's Gethsemane Campus
July 5-8, July 11-15 and July 25-29 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, M-F.
For children entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade this fall; must be at least 5 years old by July 1st, 2016) $15 per child, per week; $45 family maximum per week (Limited scholarships available) Fee includes: morning snack, nutritious lunch, all crafts and activities. We will also have a bus to help provide transportation to and from the church, making 1 or 2 stops. Registration packets are available at the St. Luke’s Gethsemane Campus, The Food Pantry, Amigos Por Vida and The Baker Ripley Center. All forms must be completed and turned in to St. Luke’s Gethsemane Campus by June 24th. Payment is due along with your forms. Forms include: Registration, Authorization for Treatment, Immunization Record, Parent Permission Form, and Allergy Information. No child will be able to attend the program without all forms completed.
Week 1 – Sports & Fitness Health & Fitness Week (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and Philippians 4:13) The children will focus on healthy eating and living through sports, yoga, exercise, and nutrition etc.
Week 2- Science & Tech Week (1 Kings 4:29-34) Children will do science projects & experiments; learn about sound, light, digital and computer technology, and more!
Week 3– Me and My World (Psalm 139:14) Children will what it means to wonderfully made for themselves, family, school and their community!

Classroom Assistant: As a volunteer, you will help the staff Program Counselor with classroom management. This includes assisting with the lessons, ensuring all children are accounted for and safe. Most of all, making sure that the children are having a great experience in Summer Clubhouse. We need individuals with availability Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm.
Lunch Crew/Team Member: We need individuals, groups or Sunday School classes to sign up to deliver lunches to the classrooms. The meals are being catered by Skeeters. We just need someone to greet the delivery each day, organize the lunches for each class and wheel them to the rooms. This job is Monday-Friday, approximately 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Clubhouse Nurse: Will tend to minor injuries or illnesses, and call emergency contacts if necessary. Assess if child(ren) should be picked up by parent or guardian or if further medical attention is necessary. Complete required incident report to have on file. Communicate with Program Director and parents accordingly. This job is Monday-Friday, 8:45am to 1:15pm.
Snack Team Member: Prepare and distribute snacks to each classroom, each day by 10:15am. A snack menu, snack supplies and snacks will be provided for you. This job is Monday-Friday, approximately 9:30-11:00am.
Welcome/Check-in Greeter: Welcome children and parents as they arrive. Help them locate their rooms. Assist parents, if needed, with drop off and pick procedures. Check off attendance sheet. This job is Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 9:30am.
