Train in Teams
Hebrews 10:24 tells us to “Provoke one another to love and good deeds.”
Who challenges you to live St. Luke’s mission—to put your faith into action, not just on Sundays? Who holds you accountable?
Training teams are small, close-knit groups that commit to modeling our lives after Jesus’ life, and team members hold one another accountable as we practice putting what we have learned from scripture into action. They transform us into real disciples. And, as we all know, in teams, no one walks alone.
In the Methodist tradition, St. Luke’s training teams follow a rule of life where, together, we lay aside sin, persevere in good, look to Jesus and claim the joy. They come in a variety of flavors, so there is one sure to suit your tastes. Disciple Bible Study, Men’s Life and a new flavor called LIFT: Living in Faith Together are just a few of the many we serve up at St. Luke’s.
Deepen your discipleship by joining a training team waiting to walk with you.
- Practice living your faith like Jesus taught by joining a training team.
- Create space for others to practice with you—facilitate a new LIFT team.
- As your practice begins to transform your life, spread the good news!
