Women’s Bible Studies or Small Groups

Join this community of women who are seeking to know God more intimately through Bible study, prayer and fellowship. The women are currently studying Paul’s letter to the Romans. Join this group of women for an 18-week study of the book of Revelation. Led by Martha Loyd.

Join this group of ladies for an afternoon of fellowship and study of I Corinthians. Led by Suzy Heine.
Young Women’s Bible Study – Love Wins, 1st and 3rd Monday, 6:30 p.m., Room R21
Young women in their late twenties to early thirties and all at different stages of their life and faith journeys, meet twice a month for study and fellowship. Leaders rotate throughout the group and this fall they begin a new curriculum on prayer. New studies begin quarterly and you are welcome to join at any time. Led by Kendall Monroe and group members.

The UMW is a community of women whose purpose is to know God, develop supportive relationships, and promote the global ministries of the United Methodist church.There are many opportunities to become a part of this active group. St. Luke’s Women’s Ministries hosts an annual women’s retreat in late winter or early spring. It is a wonderful weekend of renewing and reconnecting. Worship, prayer, shared meals, and music serve as cornerstones for the retreat. If you have never been to one of the St. Luke’s Women’s Retreats and are afraid you won’t know anyone, worry no more! You will find that you are welcomed with open arms and by the end of the weekend you will have plenty of new friends!
