Evening Childcare is organized by Children’s Ministries and offered as a benefit to all ministries of the church. Evening Childcare is for children who need care while their parents participate in an on-campus church ministry occurring in the evenings. All ages of children are welcome.
1. There is no fee to the parents or to the hosting ministry for childcare. Parents must be on campus.
1. Ministries need to plan ahead and consider their need for childcare in the early planning stages of an event. The hosting ministry must request childcare through 2 avenues: 1) notify Nursery Coordinator in an email, AND 2) check the need for childcare on the room reservation form when requesting a room for their event. Parents must also confirm their need for childcare via online requests a minimum of one week in advance of the event by filling out an Evening Childcare Request Form (https://www.stlukesmethodist.org/evening-childcare/) .
If childcare is not requested through the proper channels listed above, Children’s Ministries reserves the right to not provide childcare.
1. Evening Childcare will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and Sunday evenings. 2. To be good stewards of the church’s resources, Evening Childcare will only open if 3 or more families are requesting it on the same night. The Nursery Coordinator will notify the hosting ministry and the requesting families if childcare is or is not able to meet the minim criteria for 3 families. As a result, deadlines as listed above und “Requesting Childcare” must be adhered to for notification to occur in a timely manner. Childcare will be open for worship, Coffee with the Pastor, and any Sunday event (morning, afternoon, or evening) even if the minimum of 3 family requests is not met.
1. Childcare will not be provided until you receive a confirmation email from Nursery Coordinator, Adrian Chandler. 2. Children’s Ministries reserves the right to not provide childcare if the above criteria are not met.
