Be encouraged and strengthened in Mind, Body and Soul

God strengthens the weary and gives vitality to those worn down… those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not be tired; they will walk and not be weary. — Isaiah 40: 29, 31

IF: Table – includes 3 sessions
Thursdays, October 1, 15, 29 | 8-9 p.m.
Real Issues, Real Women, Real Conversations. 1 hour, 4 questions, 8 women.
Though we’re in a season that doesn’t allow for us to break bread together and gather around a table face to face, we can and we should still have meaningful conversations. We crave authentic relationships and desire to have real conversations about faith with other women. Let’s bring our experiences with God, our doubts, and our fears together through technology. Join us for three Thursday nights in October where we will dive deep, connect, and REVIVE our souls.

Embrace the Chaos
Finding Beauty in the Everyday
Photography Workshop
Wednesday, October 7 | 12-1 p.m.
Every family has a story. This course will help you tell your unique family story in a beautiful and authentic way. Years from now all that will be left are the memories of this precious, chaotic season of life. We’ll discuss using light, composition and color to tell your story in a beautiful way. More importantly, we will train your critical eye to see and capture moments authentically as they unfold. Part of being your own family historian means leaving a legacy of images for your children; images that include you. Help your family remember how your story is HIS story.

Virtual Luncheon with Melanie Shankle
Friday, October 23 | 12 – 1 p.m.
“When Life Doesn’t Turn Out Like You Expect” focuses on the life of Joseph in Genesis and how we often envision that God will move a certain way in our lives, but it turns out differently than the way we imagined. Why does that happen? How do we move on? What does God have for us in the messy parts of life?

Welcome Kits for Women’s Home
Saturday, October 24 | 9:30 a.m.
Help us support women transitioning from homelessness, addiction, and/or mental health illness to their new lives at The Women’s Home by making welcome kits. St. Luke’s women will purchase and assemble these bags on our own. Welcome kits should include most or all of the following: a set of affordable electronic ear pods, a small journal/planner/notebook, a pen, a bookmark, non-perishable snacks, a fun/cute cloth mask, and a handwritten card/note of encouragement. The items should be placed in a small reusable bag, cloth drawstring bag, or paper gift bag. On the morning of October 24, bring your masks, lawn chairs, and welcome kits for our Consecration Worship as we gather to bless the welcome kits.
