Welcome to the Career Decisions Workshop!
 
This program is a series of interactive classes based on topics designed to meet the needs of those seeking help and support in career transition.  Career Decisions Workshop meets regularly on Thursdays, seeks to equip participants with the tools and techniques for career success, and welcomes newcomers at any time.

Attendance is open to anyone, church membership is not required, and there is no fee.

Location:  St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 3471 Westheimer Rd. (at Edloe St.), Houston, TX 77027
 
Directions:  The meeting room is R-21which is on the 2nd floor above the Rotunda. We’ll start at 1:00pm with registration followed by the  Keynote Topic, Networking then the Breakout.  For a detailed map of the building go to www.stlukesmethodist.org/campus and click on campus map. 
 
Attendance is open, church membership is not required and there is no fee to participate.

Effective Job Hunting - The Best Ways to Find a Job
The big difference for successful job seekers is the way they go about their search. We’ll discuss the best and worst methods to find the next step in your career path.  And we’ll also talk about one particular method with an 86% success rate. 
 
3:00-4:00pm NETWORKING
 “Intro, Mix & Mingle”
Get connected to others, build lasting relationships, and gain key endorsements which can be used to significantly improve the prospects for your next job.
 
4:00-5:00pm THE BREAKOUT
“Perseverance & Hope”
The goal is to maintain your purpose and resolve, build your faith and trust, and be enlightened by wisdom from God’s Word at this time in your life’s journey.

Bill Proctor -  a consultant who provides career & life coaching services to individual executives, professionals, and managers. He teaches the tips and techniques necessary for making good decisions in finding career success and life fulfillment. You may contact him through his website at www.nextcareerstep.com.
Ernie Perez - has a significant background in corporate management as well as being a recruiting and employment professional. He has served as both the “Hiring Manager you’d love to find” and the “HR Manager you’d like to avoid.” He serves in faith based career ministries and you may contact him at EErnieper@aol.com.
